Sanbell (formerly Sanderson Stewart) was selected by the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) to design a new 150-space campus parking lot and access road. Our team provided a full range of site planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services to deliver a functional and welcoming campus environment.
The project included designing stormwater management facilities that meet City of Greeley standards. We also provided pedestrian hardscape, lighting, landscape, and irrigation design, along with improvements to an adjacent pedestrian tunnel.
Sanbell’s Placemaking Studio led the project using a people-centered approach. We focused on multimodal connectivity and accessibility to ensure safe and convenient access for students, staff, and visitors. The goal was to enhance campus circulation while creating an inviting and user-friendly environment.
