Sanbell (formerly Sanderson Stewart) serves as a long-term on-call partner for the City of Bozeman Economic Development Department. The City awarded Sanbell a three-year contract in 2016 and a four-year contract in 2019. These contracts support work across all Bozeman Urban Renewal Districts.
Sanbell delivers public infrastructure, transportation, and placemaking projects that advance economic development.
In the Midtown Urban Renewal District, Sanbell designed Aspen Street’s festival street. The project improved pedestrian experience and street function. Our team also completed the 5th Avenue Sewer Project, improvements at Westlake BMX Park, and several sidewalk and pathway upgrades.
In the Downtown Urban Renewal District, Sanbell completed the Downtown Transportation Study in two phases. We also led a three-phase Structured Parking Site Feasibility Study. Additional work included the North Black Pocket Park and ongoing on-call parking services.
Sanbell continues to support Bozeman’s growth in the Pole Yard Urban Renewal District. We are currently designing Quiet Zone railroad crossings at Rouse Avenue and Wallace Avenue. Under our term contracts, we also provide TIF assistance application reviews, surveying services, and sanitary sewer modeling.
Through responsive service and close coordination, Sanbell helps the City deliver infrastructure that supports long-term economic development.
